The Sea and Me is my story describing my interest in the sea, enlistment in the U.S. Navy, attending a Merchant Marine engineering school, support of Navy Salvage ships and Mine Countermeasures ships while employed by a civilian contractor and finally federal service supporting all classes of U.S. submarines. The memoirs are a comical look at life as an enlisted seaman on submarines and as a non-management employee with the Department of Defense. Readers are advised that this book contains profanity. This book also contains some stories that might be considered gross to some readers.

This book is the result of a subscription to Storyworth.com that was given to me by my three daughters for Christmas 2022. The Storyworth process makes writing a book much easier, because it just requires answering a series of questions. I have been very blessed to have an exciting and fulfilling life.
